My recent trip to Penang Island gave me a brainwave to have a photoshoot challenge for “The Model Who Connects Best WIth Its Photoshoot Settings.’ Lord I am so damn Cheong Hei Anyway before we started these challenges, models were given chances to have a little warming up and a few test shots.
Contestant No.1 with the one-leg-crossed-over-the-other pose to create the slimming effect (girls do this when you wear a long gown. It works every single time! Remember to turn your body to 45 degrees on either sides.)
Unfortunately we could not use some of the backgrounds because its inappropriate or the background was a bit offset. for me Perhaps YOU could capture a better perspective.
Old Man Photo could be found @ Armenian Street Art Café.
Then we decided to be the ambassador of Penang by promoting the beauty of riding on a trishaw…
Fantastic isn’t it?
As we were strolling down the streets of Armenian, from a distance, I could see a strange little boy, try to reach for something. As I got nearer, I found out he was S-T-E-A-L-I-N-G a bottle of Coke! Of course I couldn’t tolerate this. I even caught him red-handed in a picture!
AH HA! GOT CHA! ‘Reaching Up’ Mural is located @ Cannon Street, Georgetown, Penang.
After walking for almost a distance we finally reached our set. Phewww! Unraveling all the make up boxes. All our models are ready. First and foremost models are to connect themselves with the set given.

After hours of photoshoot, these are the models best shots :
Comment : Model’s pose is good but the right arm has block the boy’s back. Could be improved by leaning more to the left of the model. Brava!
Comment: Model could not connect at all with the set. The smile does not look real and the pose is totally wrong! A big possibility to be eliminated this week. Thumbs down.
Comment: Best photo of the week! Model could be seen schmizing (smiling with your eye). Model also connect himself to the set although it is painted. Keep up the good work! You are given a spot not to eliminated during the judging room.
Then a bizarre thing happen! A giant dinosaur attacked Armenian Street! A boy tried so hard to pull it back to prevent it from committing further wrath. All Penangites tried their level best to subdue it but to no avail.

Then superhero Dennis came to the rescue, helping the boy to pull the dinosaur out from the picture! Still he failed to do so because he was too skinny. Tsk Tsk. Big Failure
Then two other super heroes (one KPC aka KAY POH CHEE) helped to subdue the dinosaur. Safely no civilians were injured or harmed. Thanks to POWERPUFF GIRLS our responsible civilian.
I had to give good scolding to the dinosaur after it was tamed. He looked that he repented and apologise for being a mean creature.

After walking out, I soon realised that we are suppose to pay for our parking. To express displeasure, one of our models pose in front of the signboard with a
Anyway one of the models couldn’t stop taking photos since he lost the challenge. He decided to take other photos with other mural.

The murals were good that many of the murals were not spared! We even discovered a monk who is keen to be a photographer!. I believe this must be one of the good spots to take pictures
By the way, Ernest the mural artist will be at KL on the 9th of October 2012 at Artemis Art @ Solaris Dutamas.
Till I write again.
